Set-up is simple and is available in these six languages. Features include displaying the for sale sign in a single language, a combination of languages or all six languages in a cycle. You can also set the time interval which determines how quickly the language displayed will change.

This is perfect for those who may wish to display alternately a “For Sale" and "Te Koop” message in a Dutch oriented sim but “For Sale" and "Zu Verkaufen“ in a German sim.

For only L$50 you can purchase a COPY / MOD version of this stylish red and black sign which also incorporates a notecard giver. The item is listed for sale on XstreetSL or if you prefer you can tp and view before purchasing.

If you thought that your business could succeed by just using English then think again. Linden Labs has announced the introduction of the SL viewer in 10 languages and acknowledges the benefit of multilingual support in order to attract and retain customers.

If your potential customers can't understand your classified ad or your website they'll just click on by. If your products are in English only without any other consideration, you will be loosing business to your competitors! This is a simple fact which is understood by Linden Labs, why should selling your services or goods be any different?

The Last and Next Quarter

The last quarter (July-Sept) has seen a steady and sustained Verballis expansion, this should continue as the northern hemisphere winter season approaches. This usually attracts peak user and business activity within Second Life, businesses not wishing to miss opportunities should be considering expanding their advertising to include non English speaking residents.

It is our objective to highlight that failing to attract these customers is costing SL businesses revenue as non English speakers will look and find products more suitable for their needs. If customers can't read or understand an advert or a product, they are unlikely to buy it!

If companies advertise in their native languages then residents will feel comfortable knowing that they will understand the product and therefore more likely to purchase. Advertising, producing multi lingual products or FAQ's in various languages builds brand loyalty as makes a huge difference to non English speaking residents. For a one off translation fee this is one of the most cost effective investment a business can make.

In the last quarter Verballis Translation Services translated roughly 75,000 words and we are pleased to announce that we continue to expand our customer base and are delighted to see customers returning regularly with additional translation requests.

It is our intention that during the next quarter to increase this customer base further with a view of attracting quality SL companies and partnerships of mutual benefit.

Chinese Translation Services offered

Verballis Translation Services is pleased to announce that we now offer a translation service for Chinese. There is no doubt that Chinese will become more and more prevalent in Second Life over the coming months. Verballis is ensuring that our customers are not missing an opportunity in marketing to this community.

With the addition of Chinese it now extends our language translation capability to 18, however we are still looking to compliment the languages offered and are especially looking for Russian and Korean translators.
