During this years Second Life birthday celebrations (SL5B) one of the most highlighted communities in Second Life will present themselves on two highly entertaining and informative Sims. Thanks to the initial exclusion of the kid avatar community from SL5B by Linden Labs, individuals from around the diverse kid avatar community have come together to create an amazing presentation of the many activities these Second Life residents engage in.

CSLL Is Going Private - SL Scammers (cause)

Skip Oceanlane has decided to stop the merger of Crystal Springs Virtual Capital (CSV) and Crystal Springs Land and Loan (CSL), and take them both private.

The main reason stated is "that scammers are making doing business in the "public" financial sector of Second Life impossible".

Abbie Reinard and Keely Lefavre, two of Second Life's hottest models, decided to spend time and effort raising funds for AIDS orphans through fashion.  The Garments of Hope fashion shows and auctions are the outcome.  "Garments of Hope is something with extraordinary power to change the lives of over 30 children orphaned due to the AIDS pandemic," says Ms. Reinard.  "We were simply overwhelmed by the $316,000 raised at our first event."

Second Life -- June 15, 2008. The ARI Online Kabbalah Center presented its fourth discourse in a series of ongoing introductory lectures, entitled, The Perception of Reality. The ARI Kabbalah Band performed a prelude to the lecture reminding the audience that music can be a surrealistic experience.
