Skip Oceanlane has decided to stop the merger of Crystal Springs Virtual Capital (CSV) and Crystal Springs Land and Loan (CSL), and take them both private.
The main reason stated is "that scammers are making doing business in the "public" financial sector of Second Life impossible".

Cash's Blog Recently after letting down my guard I found myself in a situation of Emotional Blackmail. The sickening thing was it came from two so called "friends". To be blunt I really did not expect to be treated that way, considering that I always was nice and respectful to the people who are hiding behind the avatars, which I will not name. I am a firm believer of what goes around comes around, so revenge is not on my agenda.

I was contacted today by an undisclosed source who pointed me in the direction of an online petition site. So I checked out the site and found a petition of a familiar SL name...
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/againstintlibber/signatures.html - take a look at the site yourself, I dont know how successful the individual/s will be or what they are aiming to do. Personally when it comes to petition I take a long and hard think about who is going to read it or whether it is worthwhile. ACE and Intlibber have had there recent share of publicity, some may argue for the wrong reasons. With ACE experience issues with backend web data recently and a recent public 'smear' campaign against BNT, an audience sits on the side lines awaiting the next big event from BNT or ACE.

Attention all land owners, today I received an IM that alleged a 'hacker' was somehow banning avatars from their own land. I decided to start asking some questions to get more information from the recent victims. After chatting with an avatar, it is alleged that an avatar named olbalyder Aeon was able to access the land rights by attaching a scripted rose onto the land owner. When trying to return the rose to the owner it does not work. When the sim owner tried to ban Olbalyder, the land owner was then banned. The rose was not accepted, but attached. So this is a warning to those who have scripts running on your land, be careful, if not turn them off. Olbalyer Aeon was not available for comment.
