Well, I have to admit, it has been a while since I've written something more personal and in-depth. It's not easy to write blogs when you're already occupied 10-12 hrs a day, 7 days a week. But I will definitely try to write A LOT more. Plus, there's a fine line between sharing your thoughts ideas with your readers and protecting your trade secrets. If you haven't paid attention to us in a while, you will see that we have recently launched our 4th business. Let's go back and count them first and discuss how they came about.
1) JT Financial - I would say we started out as a bank, but that is not where we want to end now. Our ultimate goal is not to just be a bank anymore. We prefer to be a 'wallet', something like an intermediary transaction center between business owners and consumers, with the possibility of eventually being merged with a Real Life Financial company. 2) Wise Metaverse Ad Network - Just in case you haven't noticed, we have turned our ATMs from a liability into an asset. Our ATMs now display ads on them. Yes, some people may be offended that we're falling into the trap of 'commercialization' and that they do not want unpaid ads on their land. However, that is not the case here. We are paying affiliates interest to host our ATM and our ads are very carefully placed to not be obtrusive. I am also being very selective on what is shown on the ads because we highly value the spots on and want to cater to the more upper-echelon businesses. Thus far, we have not released the ad spaces to the market and have declined all offers. This is where you can see my head turning and why I did as I did. Going to every ATM to update the ads is not a feasible idea. We needed a system that will make editing the ads on the ATM efficient, so we had to commission a contractor to develop the system. As we built the system, we kept on adding additional features and soon realized that we have built a very advance and robust system that few systems in SL can rival, thus the release of business 3.... 3) Wise Metaverse Management System - If you haven't tested out this system, you don't know what you're missing out on. If you run a business in any way or fashion in SL, chances are, this system will make you ALOT more efficient. There are also so many businesses that can be developed with this system alone that we have started a 500,000L Cash Contest to see who can come up with the best idea. Once we released the system, we could have gone the regular route of just selling the software. But that's boring, and boring doesn't get you anywhere. Instead, we decided to release this software for FREE. Well, not totally free because we get to rotate some of our textures into yours, which you can remove later down the road. The reason for this business model was that yes, we could make some nice revenue selling the software. But once again, Growth is our concern. If we gave away the product, more people can try the system out and will be more open to using it, especially for startups that do not have funds to buy or develop something like this. But more importantly, it helps us grow our Ad Network. We can now claim that we officially have the FIRST Grid-Wide Advertising Network in SL. Anywhere our ATMs or Management system goes, so goes our Ad Network. And unlike the obtrusive ad signs on dead land, our Ads are all voluntary allowed and in all cases, offer the land owner some form of compensation. 4) This was where SLReports.net came in. We did not want to just be satisfied with our inworld network. We wanted to diversify our ad network and offer our clients a combination package to add more value to our products. Since acquiring SLReports.net, we have 1) Commissioned analysts to develop our own Business Section that analyzes and reports on the SL Markets 2) Increased the frequency of our highly touted Podcasts to increase revenue 3) Developed a few other minor methods of generating additional revenue. The SLReports.net that you will see in 2-3 months will be a lot different than what you saw in the past. Of course, the list does not end there. You already know about www.findalancer.com. In the next few weeks, we will be releasing about 3 more businesses: 1) SL Market Live 2) Helpture.com 3) SL Capital Exchange. Oh, did we mention that we are cleaning up our real life Arbitrage Software to be commercially released around September? In case you forgot, it is our crown jewel, our money printing software that my partner is running to provide the interests for the bank. Yes, it will literally Print Money because all you do is press Start and Stop. You don't have to believe me and can continue thinking that's too good to be true, but you will see in a few weeks.
