Wow – it’s been a while since I’ve blogged.  I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had the chance to even sit down to write something.  Plus, as a business owner, you’re walking a fine line when blogging because you need to be politically correct, but at the same time, share your thoughts with your readers.  But we’ll give it a try anyways.

SLCC – It wasn’t what I expected.  I didn’t get much from the business track.  Even though having the opportunity to sit down (to his right to be exact) and have lunch with Philip Linden did make the entire trip worthwhile.  I had the chance to present JTF to him and sort of give him an idea of what we plan on doing in the financial sector.  Hopefully, we assured him that we won’t be giving him more headaches after the Ginko incident.

Overall, my goal at the SLCC was to meet a few people which I had the opportunity to do.  Had the chance to sit down and have a beer with Reina Ferraris, JTF’s president.  And my girlfriend tagged along, so we had a nice little weekend vacation.  We were lucky that we visited Greektown just as they were having a Taste of Greek… reminds me of my time in Athens, Greece when I ate 8 gyros in 1 day ($1 per gyro – best deal ever!) and about 14 gyros in a span of 2 days.

I’m sure some of you have read BNT’s discussion of my in our capex.com forum (http://www.slcapex.com/forums).  Some of the things he says has merit to them, while others didn’t.  But in the grand scheme of things, getting into a heated discussion does no one any good and only creates more animosity, so why not be professional and just leave it as is.

Hopefully, after Labor Day weekend, things will slow down and I’ll write a blog on a daily basis, as well as give you the chance to meet Thanh Ho, the face behind Arbitrage Wise.  In case you haven’t noticed by my name, I’m Vietnamese, and I’m turning 28 on September 16.  We’ll leave it at that and pick up from here next time.
