World Stock Exchange WSE – Weekly Update 23rd March - 31st March 2008

Most have now heard the sad news of the passing away of Geyl Fapp of Geyl Fapp Productions (GFP), this was announced by Vincent Sideways on Saturday morning. LukeConnell Vandeverre the CEO of WSE has paid tribute to Geyl describing her as one of Second Life's greatest residence and that she will be missed for ever. Vincent the current CFO appears to be in line to become the new CEO, these duties I'm sure far from his thoughts at present.

WSE remains closed with no reopening date announced, there was strong backing for WSE 4.0 from CEO Sarah Nerd of Sarah Nerd Estates and Mainland Holdings (SNE) who is looking forward to a bright future, this view is still shared by many of the current CEO's listed on WSE. It doesn't appear that Ivan Halfpint will be part of that future or at least not with Fund Second Life (FSL) who have parted company with his services due to “disagreements”. Ivan will no longer be Senior Advisor or on the Board of Directors of FSL.

Sun Media Consultants (SUN) issued their first quarter financial report showing total revenue of L$3,000, the CEO Ace Baker seems to have taken his eye off the ball! This announcement is the companies first since 2nd January 2008 when Ace announced he was looking for additional funding streams and a new Board of Directors. I presume he's still looking, maybe an opportunity for a recently sacked Senior Advisor?

In contrast strong earnings are reported by Fashion and Gadgets (FAG), although extraordinary expenses for March results in a L$200k loss. Shareholder communication by CEO Lucky Raymaker is reliable with aggressive expansion announced, shareholders may be a little disappointed that dividends will be suspended for the foreseeable future, however most shareholders will appreciate that there is always a balance between rapid expansion and dividend payments. It will be interesting to see if Lucky can pull this off, at least there appears to be a genuine drive to succeed and that alone will satisfy many shareholders.

Fist of all nice report SL-hak. It was an enjoyable read.

Just to set the
record straight me and FSL parting ways was not so much of a disagreement as it
was more of a philisophical break.

Without getting into too much detail I was
not comfortable with the ability to safeguard investors Lindens in light of
recent happenings over at the WSE.

Me and the CEO (Mart) had fundementally
different ideas on how to maximise shareholder value and he tabled a plan which
in good consience I could not support nor carry out.

With that being said I
wish Mart all the best as well as the Shareholders in FSL. We still remain
friends today and have enjoyed the time working with him in starting up FSL and
getting things off the ground.

Cheers

Ivan
