I have held off saying anything about Jasper Tizzy and 'The Bank' until now. It seems in SL these days, jumping to conclusions has become a rather popular sport.

The rumors, though, about Jasper Tizzy seem to be running out of control. Jasper is saying one thing, VSTEX.net is saying another, and most investors have individual theories all their own.

Rumors have been going at full speed the past few days. Some customers of Tizzy's 'The Bank' are unable to withdraw funds. Rumors that land is being sold, buildings disappearing on Countless Galaxies sims are becoming viral in the way they spread through the financial community of Second Life.

Countless Galaxies, VSTEX.net, jasper Tizzy, SL Capital Exchange, CapEx, Arbitrage Wise, Xavier MohrAll I can say is two nights ago, when the problems with Bank ATMs began, I received an instant message from Jasper Tizzy explaining the situation. Jasper informed me that 'The Bank' was "not bankrupt."

According to Tizzy, he is away from home - in the United Kingdom on real-life business. Bank ATMs, he says, are running out of memory and need to be reset.

What was unsaid, assumed by me alone based on our conversation, is that Tizzy is not in a position at this point where he can reset them. Of course I know that scripted objects can run out of memory. But I am also not a scripter. I don't know if it is plausible or not for all the ATMs to 'run out of memory' on the same day. Perhaps it could be a connectivity issue, or a legitimate cash reserve issue.

AVC share prices are low, he says, because a business deal has gone awry (possibly Lucia?)... and a new partner has share-dumped approximately 4,000,000 shares of the company.

All of this, however, directly conflicts with what is being said by VSTEX.net.

"Jasper Tizzy is leaving Second Life and selling out [his] business. Trading on AVC, CGI, and KFM is halted until the transfer to the new owners is done," said an announcement at the exchange website (http://vstex.net/?p=103&id=7 ).

So what's the real story? Does anyone know? The Rock Insurance has halted issuance of new certificates for The Bank, but has not stated a clear reason aside from "ATMs not working."

I personally tried deposits and withdrawals up to L$1,000 and they went through without issue. Another friend and colleague, however, reported at the same time that L$5,000 withdrawals were not being processed.

Could this be a simple ATM memory or connectivity issue, happening at a point where Tizzy is not able to fix the problem... coinciding with an unrelated business deal gone bad? Is Tizzy really leaving SL?

As seems to be the case with a lot of Jasper's dealings, all of this is about as transparent as a brick wall. I note, however, that Jasper is notoriously honest with customers, always willing to help out those in need. Always willing to confront the tough questions head-on when they are asked to him.

Maybe he will surprise us. Only time will tell.

Stay tuned to SLReports.net for more information.

From what I've seen written on some other SL web sites and from the logs on this
site, I am almost positive that Jasper, himself, has not left SL like he said he
was going to do, but has already created more than one avatar, and is still very
interested in what is happening in the SL news.

He usually visits SL Reports
daily.

Your theory definitely makes sense.
SLReports.net User  - no offences intended, but.....   |2007-11-08 11:33:53
Atlas Venture Capital today announced that it has acquired 90% of the
outstanding shares of Lucia Bay Properties for an estimated L$15 million. Lucia
Bay owns and operates a contemporary beach club comprised of upscale residences,
recreational facilities and commercial properties.

“Lucia Bay is a diamond
in the rough,” said Atlas CEO Jasper Tizzy. “We have great ideas for this
venture.”

“Lexus and I feel that we have taken this as far as we can by
ourselves, and we are ready now to go to the next level,” explained Xavier
Hathaway who, with his Partner Lexus Daviau, created Lucia Bay

I quoted the
above, in order to present a theory.
Is it not possible that persons such as
Jasper Tizzy might create other avatars, and then start up other ventures; and
then with monies raised from stock markets, go and purchase his own 'other
ventures' off of himself???
That way, he gives 15 million Lindens to himself,
when he buys off of himself???
That might explain why Jasper might ever
logically pay 15 million Lindens for lands in sl, when those same/similar lands
might be bought for a small fraction of that price elsewhere. Money laundering
sort of???
Using the other avatars, someone like Jasper might then take the
15000000 Lindens and withdraw those monies, and then that money is
laundered??
Just a theory?
SLReports.net User  - Agree Tizzy says ANYTHING ( an   |2007-09-18 04:10:57
He lies you in the face, even you now for sure his lying, he says "i never
withdrawed a penny" , I sold all my shares to PAT or to anyelse...who's PAT
, another avatar of yours, who are you an other avatar of Portocarrero..., an
who is Portocarrero from GINKO or you if LL takes no measures against an evident
fraud ( but against gambling yes, they doooo ) , so LL takes no measures against
these kind of folkes , why are these crooks protected ?
Xavier Mohr  - Well.......     |2007-09-17 21:23:43
Well it looks like I was totally off base. Oh well. Guess it goes to show you
that people will say anything to look positive even as the ship is going down.
As was just posted at VSTEX.net: http://vstex.net/?p= 103&id=8

You people have lost your friggen marbles and now bitching about losing those
marbles. hahaha

I dont know who's worse, buisness owners that suck at running
thier own business; or the investors who blindly throw money into high risk
investments then scream fraud when they lose their investment.
SLReports.net User   |2007-09-17 02:28:29
Maybe Jasper Tizzy "is" Nicholas Portocarero, which is why he didn't
want the ISE to track his IP address.

Maybe he's not really in the UK, but in
Nigeria on a business trip from his home in Brazil.

Maybe it's really
L$258,000,000 that he's walking away with.

Maybe, maybe, maybe... who the
hell really knows, anyway.
SLReports.net User  - for that guy who loves Jasper   |2007-09-17 02:03:11
"All was sold not fraud look at vstex.net - jasper never took any money out
of SL"

I am LOUD OUT LAUGHING --> like other guy said here, please let me
how do you know he "never tool any money out of SL" - or are you Jasper
himself and prepare the ground to come back to screw us more ?

Like Nicholas
Portocarero from Ginko tried too...but who trusted Portocarrero anymore ?
SLReports.net User  - You recognize things r v bad b   |2007-09-17 01:51:09
You recognize things r v bad but still hope his coming back ,
and still give
him some trust , not v smart to still trust his lies , don't you think ?

I
quote from what you've said :
" CGI (which was sold to somebody else
without stockholder approval), and AVC (which owes it's banking customers more
than L$58,000,000) were all halted on September 14th."
- Don't you see the
facts , dude :
1- He moved to a new exchange for the second time in 2 months.
After the last exchange wanted to monitor Ip addresses.
2-CGI was not paid a
dividend because rentals were down. Yet he provides no balance sheet or income
statement.
3-Jasper has less then 50% outstanding shares but is selling the
businesses without shareholder approval.
4-the stock price has only dropped
over 95% in the last 2 months.
5-Claiming he aquired Lucia Bay sims with
15,000,000 L$ ,that's 50,000 real $.
LOL, Tizzy we're not stupid.....
Then he
declared it was a missunderstanding due to a reporter ( LOOOOOL), trying to
repair the big donut he made...
and said he aquired Lucia Bay mainly with a
share exchange ....sure ....let's get real....
6-he was selling real prepaid
mastercard debit cards at 10 , 100 real $ at virtual "The Bank" claiming
anyone will be able to withdraw from real ATM's...but who received any of those
?

So dude , keep waiting, well he might come back, yes, just to screw more
people...

SLReports.net User   |2007-09-16 23:16:22
First of all you "can't" buy these stocks any more. They were all 3
"halted until the transfer to the new owners is done" according to the
VSTEX website.

KFM (which is now completely gone), CGI (which was sold to
somebody else without stockholder approval), and AVC (which owes it's banking
customers more than L$58,000,000) were all halted on September 14th.

Not a
word from Jasper, himself, here (he's commented here, before). If he is on a
business trip, and can't fix things, how are these other people supposedly
talkin' to him? Right now, everything is hearsay and nobody knows what's going
on.
robo marx  - i wont need to talk to any1     |2007-09-16 22:35:07
I wouldnt by these guys stocks. How do u kow he did not take $$ out though?

SLReports.net User   |2007-09-16 21:23:20
All was sold not fraud look at vstex.net - jasper never took any money out of
SL, so you will need to go talk to the new owners for the future now.
robo marx  - Listen the signs are clear.     |2007-09-16 18:43:31
When a company is lowering rental prices, selling off land at a discount its a
clear sign of the financial shape of the the company. You dont sellout if you
are doing well right?
SLReports.net User  - Sure that one with"wow man"doe   |2007-09-16 16:04:35
Why ?
Maybe his Tizzy himself or one of those who takes no measures against
those who are making frauds within SL,because they are also benefiting
....
Guess who ?
Pissed of ...sure but there are other virtual worlds too, the
world is fulll of gambling sites, so...
And no i didn't lost money i just don't
like to see when someone wants to scam another people .
- I hope you are right
and that is not the case, i will be glad if he will achieve what he claimed.
-
We'll wait and see ..why don't you buy some stocks of his companies
LOOOLL.............g o ahead you can buy very cheap now LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL....
......

SLReports.net User   |2007-09-16 10:06:49
Why worry...the stock price has only dropped over 95% in the last 2 months.
Why
worry......Jasper has less then 50% outstanding shares but is selling the
businesses without shareholder approval.

Why worry.... He moved to a new
exchange for the second time in 2 months. After the last exchange wanted to
monitor Ip addresses. (why are you scared?) Maybe insiders who were dumping
shares didnt want to get caught.

Why worry.... CGI was not paid a dividend
because rentals were down. Yet he provides no balance sheet or income statement.
(looks as though land has the same rental volume. Maybe dividends were used for
his trip to Chicago,Lucia Bay or London.
Why worry..... I asked him what is his
forecast for future dividends.....He had no idea and said "possible for the
future would be a bonus." He gives no concrete fianacial
SLReports.net User   |2007-09-16 05:52:44
Wow, man! Not getting a real Mastercard must have really pissed you off bad.
First the comments on the other story, now this one. Have "you" actually
lost any money or is this just some personal grudge that you have?

I don't
claim to be sticking up for Jasper (or anybody else), but I am waiting until we
know "for sure" what's happening, rather than jumping to
conclusions.

The rumors all started at a time when Jasper is out of the
country (or something) and Teanna Nomura decided to unload the KFM properties,
and bail out. Jasper just happens to be a major shareholder of KFM and never saw
this coming (from what I've read). Teanna Nomura waited until she knew he would
be away and pulled this. Jasper should return from his RL business trip on
Tuesday.

Let's wait until Tuesday or Wednesday before we go all ape-shit
about this... k?
SLReports.net User  - Tizzy fooled people by selling   |2007-09-16 05:16:48
Jasper Tizzy also claimed he was selling real prepaid mastercard debit cards at
10 , 100 real $ at virtual "The Bank" claiming anyone will be able to
withdraw from real ATM's.

Seems was a 1st big bulshit.

2nd big bulshit
:
Claiming he aquired Lucia Bay sims with 15,000,000 L$ ,that's 50,000 real
$.
LOL, Tizzy we're not stupid.....
Then he declared it was a
missunderstanding due to a reporter ( LOOOOOL), trying to repair the big donut
he made...
and said he aquired Lucia Bay mainly with a share exchange ....sure
....let's get real....
- Then course he left away...with people's
$$$$$.

Tizzy , just sale what you still have , and return to the peole their
shares worth money...( but I think your gone anyway with the big chunk , and
what remained are only pennies in comparison with what you left with )

In
comparison with the harm people like Jasper Tizzy and Nicholas Portocarerro are
doing to SL users , let's get real, in comparison with gambling is way much more
harm doing to SL users .
Why not gambling ? It's my hard earned money, if I
want to
gamble them ,why not, I should be the one that decides how to spend
them.
But losing money due to Jasper and Portocarrero kind of fraud , this is
way to much.
- Well some might say, SL it's a game , if you don't want , you
don't play it...
- People not honest ,like Jasper and Portocarrero are making
this game the BIG gamble, not the gambling which was forbidden.....
