WSE Update 26th April 2008 - 9th May 2008 www.wselive.com By SL Hak Well not much activity to report on the World Stock Exchange, a theme that seems to be repeating week in week out, there are a small number WSE listed companies that are trying their best and to keep their shareholders informed of developments. Many however are very silent. Flying Kite Holdings (FKH) reported that their profit for April was L$12k, with revenue at L$1.2 Million. On the face of it the reported profit is a little disappointing, but considering FKH's recent acquisitions and declared expansion policy this is understandable. Hopefully Abigail Merlin will soon be in a position to be posting L$100k plus monthly profits in the coming months.
Atlantis Land Corporation (ALC), another land company has again declared strong earnings, they reported April revenue at L$652k with profit coming in at an impressive L$132k. They helpfully reported the breakdown of each sim, which should be normal business and is very helpful for potential investors in their due diligence. Hopefully these investors will soon have the opportunity to invest when WSE re opens, especially considering that ALC are also holding just over L$1 million in cash. ALC Breakdown by Sim. Revenue Expenditure Phantasyland: L$ 69,348 L$ 58,024 Fantasieland: L$ 69,579 L$ 58,903 Beachland: L$ 256,239 L$ 241,991 Atlantis World: L$ 77,427 L$ 81,588 Atlantis City: L$ 79,668 L$ 79,622 Atlantis Beach: L$ 89,813 L$ 78,699 Please feel free to contact me if you are an official of a WSE listed company with some interesting developments, either IM or send an e-mail to
