ISE Vote On SL Video Spin Off

www.intlstockexchange.com

By SL Hak

ISE CEO Cocky Dagger has received sufficient support from ISE shareholders to put his proposed IPO of SL Video (SLV) to the vote. There are many risks to this venture as Cocky Dagger has identified in the prospectus It is however innovative and as such I am delighted to reprint the business plan. Cocky has always stated that he is looking for a partner in this project, it appears that Rodders Helgado is in the driving seat, they should make a formidable partnership. SLV is definitely one to watch in more ways than one.

Ticker SLV
Company Name SL Video
CEO Cocky Dagger
Board Director Rodders Holgado

Description
Video in Second Life, in my opinion, is the most underutilized service offered through SL. The reason is Linden Labs decision to support the Quicktime format instead of using the more popular Flash video format. This new company would fill the niche by creating an easy to use video upload site that is SL friendly. It will offer easy to use tools for uploading as well as creating a strong in-world video presence by buying a private island called video island. This is a spin off of the video service that is already offered by the ISE. The reasoning for spinning it off is to raise capital to rent a dedicated server with the capacity to handle this service as well as buying an island to create themed areas to showcase videos. Spinning off the business will open up the video service to a much larger SL market then the exchange can reach.

Discussion and progress updates will be posted in the thread dedicated to this IPO in the forums . Because this is a spin off current ISE shareholders will receive one new share for each four shares of ISE they own. Given where the software is at, I feel this is a fair offer for current shareholders as well as being able to attract investors to the IPO. I will get my 1 share for each 4 shares of ISE I own as well as giving myself 100,000 extra shares since I will be doing a lot of work over the next several weeks and feel this is equitable.

Original Number of Shares 2,000,000
Shares still available in IPO 1,250,000

Use of Capital

L$259,463 - One Private Island and 6 months of tier.
L$693,000 - Marketing Blitz
L$200,000 - Miscellaneous
L$ 47,537 - Risks

Risks are many.

There are many established competitors offering video in the FLV format.

If SL enables this format for viewing in-world and the service doesn't have enough traction it will be difficult to compete.

Video is expensive and growth could present many technical challenges.

ROI will not be immediate all earnings will have to be sunk back into the business for growth.

LL could offer a similar! service that without traction could render this service useless.
Growth in SL has to occur which has not happened in the last year.
