Texanna Schumann, is a daughter of the south, born and raised in central Texas. She studied digital photography at Texas State Technical College.  She has exhibited her art in several galleries in Second Life, including the Jewish History Museum at Ir Shalom.  Texanna graduated with honors from Texas State Technical College, in December of 2007, with a degree in Digital Imaging and Design Technology.  She has been chosen by Twilight Peace to exhibit in several shows including the Jewish History Museum, The Bellagio Hotel, and the Twilight Peace Gallery at Cetus Art District.  Texanna has recently opened her home photography gallery in Second Life and continues to exhibit her art in other places including the Sheba Island, St. Agnes Art Gallery, Harmony Cafe in Cetus, Fantazy Art Gallery, Angel Dorei Museum, the S&S gallery, and Poetry in Pixels, as well as others.  She also does Second Life wedding photography and currently has an exhibit in her home gallery and Lar's Place.

The West of Ireland promotes Irish and Celtic culture within Second Life, while raising funds for Project Children and providing an entertaining environment for guests.  These estates are owned by the South Texas Celtic Music Association and are collectively a recognised 501(c)3 nonprofit organisation with both the US government and Linden Labs.

Since 1975, Project Children has been working to bring Catholic and Protestand children from Northern Ireland together as a means of breaking down the centuries old barriers between communities and neighborhoods there.    Children in the program fly to the U.S. to live with host families for the summer, in many cases with both a Catholic and Protestant child in each home.  The children have fun, get to know each other, and learn that people are people, regardless of the neighborhood in which they live or the faith they practice.

So far Project Children has brought over 14,000 children from Northern Ireland to the United States for summer vacations with more than 600 children per year now participating.   Your donation will help cover the cost of flights for these well deserving children.
