Ivy Falls to unearth hidden treasure in June
The picturesque island of Ivy Falls is enlisting it's residents and guests to help unravel it's mystery and unearth hidden treasures during June, as it launches "The Legend of Ivy Falls".
A hidden treasure quest has been mapped out in some well-known, and well-hidden corners of the island which will see treasure hunters solving riddles, unlocking hidden passages, and cracking codes with their friends to solve the island's mysterious puzzle, and win a myriad of spot prizes throughout June.
Ivy Falls Manager Kere Delcon has been hard at work laying the foundations for the quest. "When we were constructing and restoring Ivy Falls in February, we found there was a lot more to the land than we first thought, and slowly we've been putting the pieces together," he says. "It's time to share the story with everyone, and hopefully have some fun with it in the process." The Legend of Ivy Falls tells of duty, heartbreak, and fallen pirates and the story, with quest information and secret pages online as an extension of the Ivy falls website. www.ivyfallstalent.com/legends Delcon says there's even a suggestion that Pirate ghosts will be wandering through the sim handing out cash prizes to riddle-solving visitors throughout the month! On 1 June, musician Thumper Boucher will play live at the Ivy Falls Ampitheatre at 11.30am , before a cash-prize fishing contest kicks off in the afternoon. Ivy Falls launched in March 2008 and has since developed into a shopping and residential oasis, with a vibrant mall, free activities, chill-out spots and live events. Since opening, it has hosted the successful stage production 'In the Pink'. and seen performances from Moxy Barracuda, Nance Brody, Lauren Weyland, Thumper Boucher, Space Junky, Black Label Society, Dexter Ihnen, Mimi Carpenter, and the Changhigh Trinity Sisters Fireshow. Owner Rekka Berchot says that artists have embraced the space in which to share their creations, their visions, and their talent. "We're sure Ivy Falls will become something special for everyone," she says.
