A new type of entertainment comes to Second Life, RIOT mechs. What are MECHs? In a nutshell it could be described as Transformers battle it out in Second Life for prize money or just sheer entertainment. The MECHs have been demonstrated for the public, but this is the real deal. Time to get into the action. Brace yourself for a new experience and get down to RIOT Combat 1 to be part of the fun. 

Announced on the MECH forum on SL Capital Exchange:

YEP! will be hosting 2 small tourneys to help launch the RIOT mechs.

Each of the two tourneys will consist of several smaller fights, with $5,000 being given to the winner of each tourney, for a total $10,000L being given out this weekend.

The tourney times: (less then 24 hrs so get ready)

7 PM SL/PST Sat 15th (tomorrow SL time)
7 AM SL/PST Sun 16th

We will also be hosting a larger one next weekend with times to be posted.

The Stormkite model will go on sale between 5-6 pm sl time tomorrow, so get yours when they go on sale so you have an hour or two to practice before the tourney. (learn the map/sim now, its at "RIOT Combat 1"

We are hosting 2 tourneys so that most people from around the world will be able to catch at least one of them, and were sorry if you cannot attend these two times but this is all we can do this weekend. If you are interested in hosting your own tourney please contact "ImA Janitor" and he can set you up with times and supplies needed.
