SL CapEx Announcement:

I wanted to give a quick Status Report on the SLW Conversion and provide some direction on a few things still left to do over the next few days.

As of this hour, the JTF > SLW Conversion has been completed for ALL User's MAIN Accts, as follows;

(1) - Any "User MAIN" $L Balances of L$1.00 or GREATER were converted from $L to SLW shares on a 1:1 basis with conversion rounded to the closest $L.

(2) - "User MAIN" $L Balances LESS THAN L$1.00 were NOT Converted. Those Balances Remain in your MAIN Cash Account.

(3) - There are presently 162 "User SUB-Account" $L Balances of L$1.00 or GREATER that HAVE NOT YET been converted to SLW Shares. Those SUB-Accounts have been swept of $L and will be converted MANUALLY over the next 24 hours or so.

*Sorry Folks, the programmer and I were at this for 30+ straight hours and even I needed to get some sleep - I'll begin posting those Conversions this evening.

(4) - "User SUB-Account" $L Balances LESS THAN L$1.00 were NOT Converted. Those Balances remain in your SUB-Account Cash Accounts.

(5) - The ATM Machine in the MAIN LOBBY of the SL CapEx Building is now fully operational - accepting both Deposits AND WITHDRAWALS on Demand of any $L Balances you maintain on the SL CapEx Site.

*** NOTE: For SECURITY & FRAUD PREVENTION PURPOSES we are LIMITING individual Daily Withdrawals to L$50,000.00 via the ATM and will be monitoring the ATM Gateway AGGRESSIVELY for Abuse.

On a case-by-case basis Arbitrage MAY consider alternative withdrawal request methodologies. Persons desiring special consideration are requested to submit a Support Ticket via the SL CapEx web interface at http://www.slcapex.com/support
Requests will generally be reviewed WEEKDAYS within 24 hours, 48 hours Weekends.

*** STUFF WE STILL NEED TO COMPLETE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS ***

(1) - We still need to ADD a FORUM AREA for SLW...

As soon as it is established ***PLEASE*** confine ALL POSTS regarding SLW to THAT Forum. In the interim PLEASE confine your posts concerning the JTF ? SLW Conversion to the JT Financials Discussion thread at http://www.slcapex.com/forums/browse/jtf

(2) As announced previously, as soon as things have settled back in to a normal routine (give it a few days at least) we are going to begin a process of escheeting now DORMANT BANKING ACCOUNTS. These are Accounts that have NOT BEEN ACCESSSED since the AVIX / SL CapEX conversion last year. We'll keep you posted as those details emerge.

In closing I want to THANK YOU for your patience and perseverence during this difficult era in SL. It has not been easy for ANYONE. This too shall pass!

Nonetheless, out of a total of over 11,700 JTF Accts we have now converted all balances EXCEPT the 162 SUB-Accounts that will be handled manually in the next 24 hours. As we move into this next era of SL Finance let's pray that we've all learned valuable lessons and will move forward wiser for the effort.

God Bless,

Bo Beck

"Correct me if i'm wrong, but if ARB has 41,000,000 $L on hand, as he claims
in his prospectus for SLW, why did he convert $L to shares and not just pay off
his depositers like a good little boy?"

Because he simply not have all the
money anymore, he is wise and put money aside.
Arb`s is the best SL ponzi scam
artists, 1000 times better than Ginko because he still there and still earning
money from stupid investors who still believe in the JTF Ponzi.Nice move with
the SLW conversation.Nearly 50% less value of the money and earn with every
trade! JT- Best Ponzi System of SL.

Manual Sub-Account Transfers Complete
We would like to thank all sub-account
shareholders who waited patiently as we finalized the conversion. All
sub-accounts that did not receive their SLW shares during the original
conversion should have received them by now. If your sub-account balance was
converted, but you still have not received the shares, please submit a support
ticket and we will issue the shares within 24hours.

(EDITED)

Milton,

I would have to respectfully disagree with
your assessment.

People arguing the 'reality' of the Linden
Dollar always conveniently forget that at present the Linden
Dollar is not recognized by the United States Internal
Revenue Service or any other governmental authority as
an actual barter currency (unlike ITEX ~ http://www.itex.com). This is a situation which has been verifiably addressed on
a number of occasions at the governmental level... and in
the end they have never taken any action with regard
to changing their view of the L$ product.

In fact, the
only governmental intervention in Second Life transactions
is taxation on some European customers via VAT, which to
my knowledge ignores L$ transactions and only covers
USD purchases you make with Linden Lab directly.

Linden Lab
cites the Linden Dollar as a *product* with no inherent
or guaranteed trade value. This is because, among
other reasons, the value of the Linden Dollar is not backed
by anything tangible - it is arbitrarily enforced by a
a management team in San Francisco who increases
or decreases the L$ supply of Currency Linden with a
few simple keystrokes according to their private
business needs. The only "value" in the Linden Dollar
is fictitious, caused by demand and inflation... and
the success of Linden Lab itself to
an extent.

Additionall y, there is one and ONLY one
official conversion authority for the Linden Dollar...
Linden Lab. Third party exchanges merely serve
as intermediaries in a process readily available to
all users of the platform.

In short, for all
real-world intents and purposes, we are dealing with
a fictitious currency... issued by a private corporation...
with no real-world value. We might as well be transacting with
the arcade tickets your kids bring home from the
mall.

The Linden Dollar is backed only by ones and zeros on
a server in some huge datacenter. Should Second Life cease
to exist, or should Linden Lab become financially unstable,
the currency is totally worthless... just like any
other online game.

Should real laws apply to financial losses
in an online roleplaying game? I don't think so. I feel it's
the obligation of every user/avatar to ONLY bring money into
the game that you can afford to lose, and ONLY do so with
the realization that you may never be able to convert it back.
You have no protection when you use a currency whose issuer
admits is worthless in their own Terms of Service.

Not
to mention... if we regulate the Linden Dollar, thousands
of fine individuals (most of whom have never deposited
or invested a cent in an SL financial institution) may find
themselves in a huge tax mess due
to misdealings previously considered a non-issue due to
an assumption of protection provided by
role-play environment. Regulation in SL brings along
far worse consequences than simply catching scammers...
it brings the potential for good people to find themselves
in legal trouble over issues they thought were trivial at
the time.

If you want real-world FDIC, IRS, and
SEC protection... for God's sake take your money out of SL
and put it in a real financial institution.

Of course, if
you do that, YOU'RE subject to taxation... and I have a
sneaking suspicion that many big investors and big depositors in
SL are fully aware of that... hence why they kept so
much here.

I can understand ~ given the vast goals that can
be accomplished with the Linden Dollar product ~ how it is easy
at first thought to fight for regulation and enforcement of
the Linden Dollar and SL financial transactions. At some
point, however, you simply have to look at the facts and
logistics and realize that not only is that an illogical move,
but in the end serves no real purposes given the lack of
any real-world value, the narrow purchasing power (heavily
consisting of items that themselves have little to
no real-world value), and the narrow market in which
the Linden Dollar may be used.

Remember, there ARE
reasons that the government has reviewed this game currency
and taken no action with regard to regulating it.

A virtual
world is a VIRTUAL world. Oxford American defines
'virtual' as: "simulated, artificial, imitation, make-believe; compute
r-generated, online, virtual reality."
In other words... it's not real. If you think that the role-play
activities taking place within the grid should be subject to
REAL financial and business regulation, in my opinion
you need to review your situation and make sure you're
not experiencing a more serious online gaming addiction.

I am blown away at the total lack of concern and ability here. First bank fraud
and now Securities fraud. This is laughable. The only saving grace is that Linden
seems to ultimatley catch up to these scams. You guys persist in insisting and
believing that real world laws and standards do not apply to you. It is after
all small time petty theft, but all illegal just the same. Because Lindens are
convertiable to real dollars, SEC and banking laws do apply, just like
casinos. You have been unable to pay back "bank" deposits you invented
and now believe that you have "created" a market and "exchanged"
deposits for shares. Nothing is further from the truth. You are decieving
yourselves and everyone else. The only reason you have not been busted is
because it is too small for any agencies to go after you...yet.
Konner Mcdonnell  - Hold'em   |2008-02-19 08:49:01
Hey Folks,

Right now things are pretty panicked. There are a couple of bugs
that are stalling the market and in generally people are in a hurry to sell
their shares at least for immediate funds.

I urge you to hold onto your shares
for a time. Yes, this means you have to wait for your money even longer, but
you've waited a month already - What's another week? Do yourself a favor and
hold off until there is some stability.

I don't work for Arb and I don't know
the future. Even though I may not agree with this course of action, I see the
flaw in panic. Don't fall victim to fear. Play it smart.
