Child Consumer Reports By: Amira Beaumont Shop Location: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Born%20North/144/211/32 It was a simple mistake,I swear! Ok maybe I’m not that sorry for sinning, buying Linden, and buying...get this....a PLANT. Yup, a plant. I must be on crack, you say? Not at all! This plant, for a lack of sheer joyous words, is "Bril" (Brilliant to all my non-informed lingo-ists). I first heard of PlantPets a few months back when Amira was first born into the virtual world of Second Life, but never really thought much of it. Granted as a child of 6 years I had no real use for a houseplant when I didn’t even HAVE a house....or a non-linden skin. Now that I've become more settled, got myself a family and a job *gasp, child labor!* I decided to get a PlantPets. So I walk home with a gigantic crate containing my new (and some would argue only) friend, plop him..her...it...down on my desk and thus it began.

Somewhere this morning, between coffee spilling on my work uniform and the radio morning show's very own 'what's on my head?' contest, I muttered words I should not of uttered, even under my breath. Most of my day went miserably due to the note it began in, sour and decomposing. Later as my work day came to a halt, I eagerly plopped down and entered my world as Amira. Perfect. Happy. Amira.

Good afternoon Second Life! Amira Beaumont here to turn in her first official SL Consumer Report for Kids! Here in Second Life we choose who we wish to be. Some of us have wings, fur, piercings, or other things we don’t have in our first lives. Some of us choose, for one reason or another, to revert back to childhood. Regardless of our choice, the path is clear: we seek aids in this virtual world to make it feel more tangible.
This is where the SICKEZE HUD comes into play for us kids out there. Designed by one Porscha Tomsen, the little HUD sits innocently in the left hand corner of your screen for a whopping 500L. Is it worth it? Let me put it all on the line for you.
