Today one of our readers caught my attention to a subject that has bothered me for quite a while. "Your World, Your Imagination", says Second Life slogan. But with all the laws, bans, grievers free, good people locked and surround by security devices, Second Life approaches more and more towards the First Life. And, as if it was not enough, we have to cope with RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE!!
Surely, since the world is world, there is a Pink and Brain attack. There is always a Brain trying to take over the world, surround, followed and obeyed by Pinks, massified morons who believe anything they hear and follow orders without even asking themselves why. But don't you, reader, think, it is too much to try and demand others to dream whatever you want? Surely, you would hate it if someone did the same to you. Imagine for one second that people forbid everything you love to do, saying it is wrong, crime, sin, against the law. Everything. You are only allowed to do things you hate. Wouldn't you feel quite uncomfortable in simply existing? Then, speak of it, shout it out loud. No one can dictate who you want to be, to dream, anything. It is your dream, your mind, your time in front of your computer, being your avatar. Dare to claim your freedom to dream! For example... it is moot, unfounded and even ridiculous to stalk, troll, flame, crucify and even despise people because their real life gender, age or species aren't exactly the same as in real life. It's... moronic. Who are those, poor mortals, to walk around pointing fingers at others? If we are to be cruel, point fingers to criticize others for their choices, I'd assume - falsely, I emphasize - that every lesbian who has a harness is actually wanting to be a man; every gay man want to be a woman. Obviously we know neither is true. Some people do not hide their real life gender, some other do. By criticizing and trolling other people's freedom of being whoever they imagine to be, we are contributing for more closeness and lack of open communication. People won't leave their avatars just because one or two criticize them. They'll just not tell, anymore, and shrug critics, trolls and stalkers off. The opposite is also an example. I explain. I am not a BDSM person and I keep my private moments, private. But I was heavily criticized and even banned out of a community because I told a person, "sorry, this is not my thing" during a talk about BDSM and also during a visit to a strip club, when the lady offered herself to me in what I call very rude words (for money, anything goes), and I told her I was there to dance only, not to seek for a one-night stand. I mean, just because I don't have skimpy dressed women hanging from my ceiling by the hair, does it mean I am so stupid I cannot keep a conversation about BDSM? Of course not. Yet, it is assumed we are morons who cannot open a book and study. Maybe some people do not like because they have tried. It's like wine: some people like, some do not like, but they ask for a coke and the talk goes on. Yet another people judge us for saying the truth. I'll never forget the man who banned this fellow from his Sim because he waited 2 hours for the owner to help him out on an issue while he (the owner) was asleep, and he commented with me he (the owner) wasn't being very helpful at that moment. But, the banned fellow did have a point. Can you help someone while sleeping? Can you help someone in Second Life when you are busy with first? I don't think so. I do not judge anyone's tastes. If I don't like something, I leave; most people have this common sense. To live and leave others alone to live. Besides, the righteous people have their roof made of glass too. Every Caesar has their very own Brutus... Cezare Blanco
