On 19 July at 7pm SLT, The Contempo Institute will open as a new venue for the arts. Their opening exhibit, The Body Graffik, showcases 2D works by four artists working with the human form. These works present figures in hyperreal or surreal environments, and use digital compositing tools and collage to push the limits of photography and painting. Works displayed by Static Schultz and Ubix Voom are displayed in Gallery 1, and the works by Marisela Bouchard and Fau Ferdinand in Gallery 2.

Cleveland, Ohio, July 20, 2007 – Cold Fusion Intertainment announced today the opening of SL Pulse (www.SLPulse.com) a free service for the Second Life community for the posting of Second Life related press releases, events, and announcements.
The launch of the service allows people to quickly and easily share their news with residents, while providing a clearinghouse of news that can be accessed by the Second Life themed news services for possible inclusion in their content. Submissions will not be edited or selected for inclusion based upon an editor’s decision.” The Second Life community has some fine news organizations reporting on a variety of happenings in Second Life”, said PK Otoole, Cold Fusion Intertainment’s manager of Second Life projects. “However, a press release service with the ability to post raw news specifically for Second Life residents and the press release broadcast option has been missing until now” said Otoole.

SECOND LIFE, Jun 28 – Portuguese group is organizing a gallery, which sales funds are going to social institution ARCI. ARCI has been developing educational and free time occupation projects using virtual realities, such as Second Life, with at risk teens and adults, who belong to the association Novo Futuro (www.novofuturo.org) .
