Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Learning Center (112,25,32) August 25, 6PM, SL Time The development of the Internet has given us the ability to connect in a virtual reality above the boundaries of space and time. Now, if you're anything like me...access to the Internet is as important as having electricity and running water. Without it, there's a disconnection that is no longer acceptable, and the ISP just can't get the connection back up and running fast enough!
So, what does this indicate about life in the 21st century? Perhaps the popularized proverb expressed by Victor Hugo offers a glimmer of insight: "Necessity is the mother of invention." But, is this connection a "necessity?" What purpose does the connection serve? Moreover, can it be that the Internet is a projection of an inherent need for connection? Tonight's class will explore these ideas and more from the perspective of Kabbalah. Join us for an engaging discussion which will investigate these questions, and more.In addition to the class, the amazing ARI Kabbalah Band will be performing a live concert! If you'd like to attend the class/concert, please fill out the registration note card below and rename it "Kabbalah Lecture Registration August 25." Be sure to include your name, then send it to Shlomo Oh or Nekuda Henhouse. Kabbalah Group has open membership and conducts ongoing free lectures including question and answer sessions, as well as concerts.
