A new exciting season for Italian SL football fans is about to begin. Using the SecondFootball (leading provider for football game systems in Second Life) platform, the "Serie A SL" 2008/2009 will feature 10 teams battling it out up to the end. Undisputed favourite team is Hellas Verona SL, winner of the 2007/2008 season (the first played with the SecondFootball system) and winner of the recent "Trofeo Italia". For this second season, all the teams will do their best to stop Hellas Verona SL in their march for the League #1 position. First games will be played tomorrow, November 24: | Puteolana F.C. In a lengthy and somewhat hard to follow press release due to the inadequaecy of Goggle's Portugese Translation Program, OIG(ACE) CEO Bencly Sewell recounted the events that have taken place during OIG's first year of public trading. Indeed, it has not been a simple year for the Second Life Economy, with bans on gambling and banking throwing large monkeywrenches into many portfolios.

Rodders Holgado formed Jamaica Estates Currency Fund (JCF : ISE) to exploit arbitrages that occur in all the SL currency markets. Since June of this year JCF(ISE) has paid L$0.12 in dividends per share for a 6DYA(6-month Dividend Yield Average) of L$0.024 over the course of 11 dividend payments.

87% of Special Situations (SAS : ACE) shareholders turned out to vote for the unprecedented slate of proposals tabled by CEO Wenden Xeno, as announced today in a press release. Since the Linden Lab announcement of Openspace Policy change SAS(ACE) has been caught between a rock and a hard place. A great deal of SAS(ACE) investments were tied up in JAM(ISE), which was itself hit quite directly by the policy change.
